follicles, shaft, tips, ends

since the last post ended with having a (hair)style that is simple and functional, i'm going to dish out my limited knowledge about... HAIR! so do blondes really have more fun? personally i have no idea if they do but the days when i was blonde, it was the worst state that my hair was in... more about that later...

question: how many of you actually allow your hair to dry naturally?

if you do, STOP! i remember hosting a anti-dandruff shampoo roadshow and the stylist on hand actually told me that after you wash your hair, your follicles (i think) open up due to the moisture. hence it is essential to dry your hair so that your follicles will close and thus reducing hair loss...

now then comes the 'how do i dry my hair?' with a hairdryer, start at the roots (near to the scalp) then blow outwards. in this way, the hot air will flow outwards and away from the scalp. if you have longer or thicker hair, alternate the temperature to reduce the damage to your scalp...

now... time to indulge in myself... the good old days of being blonde... if you bleached your hair, you'll know how dry it becomes, there is really nothing you can do but condition your hair... i use two different variants (same brand)... one for dry/damaged hair, another for anti-breakage/strengthening... served me well so far...

if you are into styling your hair daily... do give your hair off days... more hair-raising (sorry, can't resist!) tips next time... BAM!
